Actor-producer Akshay Kumar, who had declared sometime back that he is also exploring regional cinema by producing a Marathi film, has now plans to produce a Punjabi film titled Paaji In Trouble.
Confirming the news, Akki was quoted saying that as he is a
Punjabi, he has first-hand knowledge about the importance of regional
cinema and the impact it has on others. He also added that regional
cinema is a powerful medium as it engages audiences on a real and
grass-root level.
Akshay Kumar, who was last seen playing the role of a modern day Lord Krishna in OMG Oh My God!, will be next seen making a comeback to the Khiladi series with Khiladi 786, which releases on December 7 this year.
