Akshay Kumar keen to get his gangster look right

Bollywood action king action Akshay Kumar is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that he gets the right look to essay the role of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar in the sequel to ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’.

Talking to a daily, an elated Akshay Kumar said, “I have been waiting for the right script to stamp my return to action and finally I found it. My look in the film has been completely my director Milan Luthria and producer Ekta Kapoor`s call. They have worked in tandem to give me this intense look”.

Apparently, Akshay’s character is an older version of Emraan Hashmi`s character, Shoaib Khan, from the prequel.

Buzz has it that Akshay’s character is based on dreaded gangster Dawood Ibrahim, Speaking on his character, Akshay added, “I play a gangster of the 80s and it would be unwise to say that I`m playing Dawood even though the world is saying so.”

Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor, the producer of the film said, “Akshay ages through the film. It begins with 25 and then 30 and then 35 is the age span that we cover. So he will have three looks in the film. We combined how a gangster of the 80s looked and mixed Akshay`s natural charm to his dreaded on screen persona.”

It is believed that Akshay is keen to have a look similar to Dawood Ibrahim and will also attend a fifteen day kinesics workshop to train in the mannerism and body language of the gangster.
